We're looking for a Water Operational Risk Service Analyst (ORSA) to join our Intelligent Control Centre (ICC), to monitor and manage alarms within the ICC from our Water operational assets across Scotland.
What you’ll do:
- Respond to risks that could impact service delivery, customer satisfaction, or environmental compliance, providing essential support to field teams managing asset and customer service issues.
- Foster a strong culture of knowledge and risk management, ensuring customer service is protected and continuously improved.
- Work closely with other CSD functions to understand the impact of burst activities at all levels to ensure effective risk management and mitigation measures are in place, keeping service delivery running smoothly.
What you’ll need:
- A strong understanding of water network systems and the actions needed to protect or restore service disruptions is essential.
- You’ll also need significant experience across Scottish Water’s operational activities, particularly in water delivery services.

The not-so-small print:
This role will be a Grade 6. If you’re new to Scottish Water, you’ll join us on a starting salary of £33,560. Performance-driven pay progression would then allow you to move through the range to a maximum of £44,140. If you’re interested in this role – or know someone else who might be - we’ll be accepting applications until midnight on the 23rd March 2025. We’re looking to do interviews for this role on 31st March in person at our Stepps Office. Job offers at Scottish Water are conditional, and will be confirmed on completion of our pre-employment screening, e.g. referencing, criminal record checks, license checks, etc. Screening is conducted on our behalf by a third party, and must be completed before your start date. Don’t worry - we’ll only start these checks once you’ve accepted an offer.
