Senior Insolvency Administrator (Corporate) Manchester
Salary: £32,000 £42,000 + bonus (DOE)
Location: Manchester (hybrid working available)
Type: Permanent, full-time
An established insolvency team in Manchester is looking for a Senior Insolvency Administrator to join their corporate casework function. Youll be trusted to run your own files day-to-day, keep matters moving, and act as a go-to support for junior colleagues and the wider team.
This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants a clear route towards Assistant Manager level.
What youll be doing

Running a portfolio of corporate appointments including CVLs, MVLs and Administrations

Keeping cases on track: diaries, statutory deadlines, deliverables and stakeholder updates

Producing core case documents: correspondence, notices, statutory forms and progress reporting

Handling realisation and investigation workstreams (asset agents, valuations, bank queries, antecedent reviews, etc.)

Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other third parties professionally and confidently

Supporting managers with technical tasks and problem cases when needed

Helping junior staff with queries and sense-checking work (depending on experience)
What were looking for

Solid experience in corporate insolvency (ideally 3+ years, but flexible for the right person)

Comfortable taking ownership of files and working with minimal supervision

Strong organisational skills youre good at prioritising and keeping momentum

Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels

Experience using insolvency case management systems (desirable)

CPI is helpful but not essential (study support may be available)
