Senior Insolvency Administrator (Corporate) Manchester
Salary: £32,000 £42,000 + bonus (DOE)
Location: Manchester (hybrid working available)
Type: Permanent, full-time

An established insolvency team in Manchester is looking for a Senior Insolvency Administrator to join their corporate casework function. Youll be trusted to run your own files day-to-day, keep matters moving, and act as a go-to support for junior colleagues and the wider team.

This role suits someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things properly, and wants a clear route towards Assistant Manager level.

What youll be doing

  • Running a portfolio of corporate appointments including CVLs, MVLs and Administrations

  • Keeping cases on track: diaries, statutory deadlines, deliverables and stakeholder updates

  • Producing core case documents: correspondence, notices, statutory forms and progress reporting

  • Handling realisation and investigation workstreams (asset agents, valuations, bank queries, antecedent reviews, etc.)

  • Liaising with directors, creditors, solicitors and other third parties professionally and confidently

  • Supporting managers with technical tasks and problem cases when needed

  • Helping junior staff with queries and sense-checking work (depending on experience)

What were looking for

  • Solid experience in corporate insolvency (ideally 3+ years, but flexible for the right person)

  • Comfortable taking ownership of files and working with minimal supervision

  • Strong organisational skills youre good at prioritising and keeping momentum

  • Confident communicator with stakeholders at all levels

  • Experience using insolvency case management systems (desirable)

  • CPI is helpful but not essential (study support may be available)
