The Casualty Reduction Enforcement Support Team (CREST) are looking to recruit a File Builder on a full-time permanent basis, based at Wyatts Way, Ripley.
The CREST File Builder works within the CREST Department, assisting Police Officers and Investigators with the building of files resulting from Investigations and those from the Process Team. The cases will in the main be as a result of speed related issues and offences.
What you’ll be doing
Recording crimes reported to or found as a result of the investigations team in the course of their duties.
You will be trained on the Police National Computer (PNC) and complete work on PNC checks as appropriate on cases.
Complete further requests for work from CPS in relation to cases.
Processing evidence such as CCTV.
The must haves
Do you have a fine eye for detail with a methodical approach to your working life?, Hold GCSE English and Maths Level 4 / Grade C or equivalent qualifications.
Have proven experience in recording information with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate to individuals clearly and concisely with a variety of different backgrounds and needs.
Ability to analyse and interpret information and/or evidence.
