Hours: 37.5 contracted hours per week, working the occasional weekend and sleep ins

Salary: £32,187.46 per annum

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Support Manager to work with the Operations Manager in leading and directly line managing a support team in Warwickshire and surrounding areas to deliver the highest quality of support to a group of adults with learning disabilities in their own homes. You will lead as an exemplary role model to achieve outstanding, personalised support, and high levels of regulatory compliance, ensuring our customers are at the heart of all we do, and their needs are met. Ensuring your team feel valued and supported, providing them with a full understanding of what is expected of them and giving them the skills and tools to undertake their role to the best of their abilities. Success in this role means that individuals get the highest quality support and live their best lives.

About the candidate:

  • Support customers with mental health and learning disabilities in Warwickshire and surrounding areas
  • In depth knowledge of complex mental health conditions and person-centered care
  • UK Driving License essential
  • Previous management experience in team leadership and management
  • Experience and training in health and social care
  • Personal care may be required
  • NVQ level 5 in health and social care desirable
  • Able to work alongside other Support Managers and Operations Managers
  • Competent with IT
  • At least 2 years of experience in adult care
  • Able to manage staff effectively including staff issues in line with policy and procedures
  • Experience of delivering high quality, personalised support within the Health and Social Care sector along with the ability to lead and motivate a team of people to deliver excellent services
  • Quality assurance and compliance
  • Good time management skills and good communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Commitment to continuous training and development

  • Ability to work under pressure
