We are working with a brand strategy and innovation consultancy. Their work spans positioning, architecture, innovation & futures work as well as commercial development, looking at businesses capabilities at a group level. Theyβre really well known and respected in the industry, and their co-owner also hosts a podcast which is doing brilliantly.
Insight underpins much of what they do, but the strategic rigour is what they are looking for. Someone who understands the customer but is also able to develop a strategy from that by asking the right questions, understanding the opportunities but also the limitations on a business, and can deliver a full new brand or business strategy that could cost the organisation millions to change and follow.
Because this is overall strategy as well, the outputs can be anything: new products, brands, customer journey, new ways of using current capabilities, or creating new revenue streams. This is why we are looking for a brand strategist with real rigour and a commercial mind.
A lot of the work is within FMCG, helping transform a number of brands and products, going deep into million-pound, long-term projects rather than multiple tactical projects which have served them well. They have grown really well in the last few years because of those relationships.
They believe in good work/life balance and looking after employees with good pension, healthcare, and benefits, as well as support for people joining to understand their approach.
