Whilst working for this claims and disputes consultancy, you will be assigned to projects to provide consultancy services to main contractors, sub-contractors, and client organisations. Responsibilities and Duties

This Senior Delay Analyst role is critical within the business. You will report to the Director of the London office and work closely with the Director of the Northern office to support projects managed from there. Responsibilities include:

  • Live project planning
  • Contentious and non-contentious planning
  • Delay analysis
  • Managing formal disputes such as adjudications
  • Value management
  • Problem solving and coordination
  • Client reporting

  • Approximately 10 years of experience in live project environments, preferably as a planner or project controls manager
  • Proven ability to carry out delay analysis techniques
  • Experience working on civils and infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of Standard Forms of Contract (JCT, NEC, FIDIC)
  • Understanding of Delay and Disruption Analysis and the Society of Construction Law protocols
  • Strong written and technical communication skills
  • Solid understanding of all construction process stages
  • Willingness to travel within the UK and occasionally internationally
  • Proficiency with Primavera, Asta Powerproject, or MS Project
  • Active contribution to business development

Qualifications/Educational Requirements

All candidates must hold a degree or equivalent. Higher qualifications such as an MSc or LLM in Construction Law are desirable. Membership in relevant professional bodies is advantageous.
