Job Description

We are looking for a Front Office Developer who has experience working in the front office. You will be involved in the whole software development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to development, testing, deployment, and support.

This role will have a variety of responsibilities:

1. Gather requirements from traders, other clients, or teams (IT, quants…)
2. Develop new functionalities mostly in Excel / VBA, potentially also some Python
3. Test the code and assist with Microsoft Office patches
4. Proactively plan and migrate functionality from spreadsheets to strategic systems
5. Support and progressively improve the applications developed in the team
6. Collaborate with support and other IT and technical teams
7. Draw up all the technical documentation required in accordance with the Group\’s Development Policies and the stipulations of the solution design
8. Identify training, upskilling, or re-profiling needs required to maintain technical competences

Qualifications

1. Deep knowledge of Excel and VBA
2. Experience working in banking with front office experience providing support to traders
3. Experience with complex spreadsheets
4. Proficient in C# .Net Core and/or Python
5. Financial knowledge of Rates asset class, basic concepts, and main products
