The Director, General Service Contractors (GSC) Tradeshow Sales Operations’ primary duty is to oversee the Sales and Operations of General Service Contractor business within the tradeshow industry. The individual must ensure the company develops and grows this specific business within EFW’s Tradeshow division through sales techniques, market and industry knowledge, and superior customer service. The Director will lead sales efforts and oversee the operations to support this specific vertical space within the tradeshow industry. Collaboration with EFW stations and Estes management will be required to effectively support and grow this space.

- Lead and direct the Tradeshow staff to ensure a consistently high level of service, quality and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain profitable, cost-efficient operations, guide and support all sales efforts, internal and external, and comply with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory guidelines.
- Establish and continuously improve processes to ensure excellent customer relations.
- Ensure that freight is being expedited in a safe and timely manner and that the station provides a safe and professional environment for all staff.
- Establish a field support team to manage show move-outs for various tradeshows across the country in which EFW Tradeshow is endorsed by General Service Contractors.
- Supervise and oversee any Tradeshow staff members assigned to the General Service Contractor business segment.
- Engage in Tradeshow solutions-based communication with clients.
- Manage tradeshow client escalations and ensure all issues are resolved.
- Ensure the team utilizes EFW software to quote Tradeshow business efficiently and successfully.
- Build strong relationships with local and regional Estes Express Operation Managers to ensure operational support for the various shows EFW will be endorsed as an official carrier.
- Assist team as needed with proactively engaging customers to build rapport and ask for new Tradeshow opportunities.
- Verify with tradeshow team and operations personnel all specific client expectations are met.
- Oversee training of staff to support advance receiving warehouse in various markets to support designated trade.
- Continually develop market and industry knowledge to facilitate success.
- Comply with company C-TPAT and TSA security procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to travel via car, train or plane when required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCEMinimum of a bachelor’s degree with 7-10 years of tradeshow, transportation, and managerial experience. However, a combination of experience and/or education will be taken into consideration.
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONSValid driver’s license required.
TRAVELPeriodic travel up to 15% required.
