Job Summary
Applications are invited for a Full Time Locum Consultant in Orthopaedics, for lower limb surgery, based at Northwick Park Hospital and would be required to work across the Central Middlesex and Ealing Hospitals. The successful applicant must have experience in lower limb surgery, including elective and trauma operating, fracture clinics, and elective clinics.

Duties & Responsibilities
The role includes balanced activities between trauma and elective commitments based on service demands. Responsibilities include:

1. Operation lists, both Elective and Trauma
2. Regular ward rounds
3. Outpatient clinics, both Elective and Trauma
4. Presenting monthly mortality & morbidity statistics
5. Participating in departmental teaching meetings
6. Supervision and training of middle grade doctors
7. Participating in management duties within the department and the Trust

Minimum Requirements
It is essential that the applicant has passed the fellowship in Trauma & Orthopaedic Surgery or equivalent.

Additional Information
This is a Consultant post to support the current Orthopaedic service in general trauma and lower limb elective orthopaedics with a specialty interest in hip and knee surgery. The post holder will be expected to work across the Trust on both the Northwick Park, Central Middlesex, and Ealing Hospital sites.
