I am working with an impressive international law firm looking for a Financial Controller to join the London team. The firm has a strong focus on people development and culture, making it a great place for collaboration and driving innovation. Reporting to the finance director, this is a well-rounded role with key responsibilities including:
- Oversight of the audit processes and preparation of group and subsidiary financial statements.
- Maintain a strong control environment and ongoing process improvements.
- Supporting with long-term strategic planning.
- Analysis of a range of areas including projects, strategy and M&As.
- Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Business partnering with a wide range of stakeholders.
You will need to be a qualified accountant with experience working in the legal or professional services sectors. You will need strong UK GAAP and financial reporting knowledge with experience in international organisations. Strong Excel and systems knowledge would be an advantage with Elite 3E experience desirable.
