The predicted salary is between 72000 - 108000 Β£ per year.
Reporting directly to the General Counsel, effective legal risk management in line with Group risk profile and strategic and financial objectives with a focus on Corporate, M&A, integration and general commercial.
Responsibilities
- Legal Team lead on M & A and integration queries associated with M&A and pre and post completion matters.
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and advising on the management of associated risks and regulatory considerations, including:
- third party supplier agreements for all business areas (IT, data, services, outsourcing, People & Culture, Marketing);
- legal advice and deliverables for Change Management project delivery;
- day to day advice and support on all Group contracts, legal risks and resolution of queries and issues.

Knowledge
- Previous experience in corporate/M&A, including transaction exposure and due diligence/review projects, together with integration experience, from a strong corporate/commercial firm and in-house Financial Services experience.
- Prior relevant industry experience in FCA regulatory framework highly desirable.
- Proficient in use of Microsoft Office (especially Word) features β including expertise with tracking features and automated cross-references for ensuring quality control in work.
Qualifications and experience
- UK qualified lawyer with strong academic background.
- At least 10 years post qualification experience.
