The Role
Purpose of the Account Director: To provide leadership, development and performance management across a portfolio of Accounts within the Work Dynamics Sector within the corporate sector. The Group Account Director is a key role in providing strategic, tactical and technical operational leadership and direction across multiple Work Dynamics accounts and dedicated Account teams.
Key Responsibilities of the Account Director:
- Lead a team of Group Account Managers to ensure exceptional service delivery across a national portfolio comprising 93 clients.
- Working alongside the sector Transformation Direction and cross functional business leaders, develop ‘go to market’ occupier service product and associated strategies to achieve ambitious growth targets.
Main Duties of the Account Director:
- Leads and develops dedicated account / contract teams.
- Set the strategic direction for the team.
- Deliver the strategic goals / direction of the sector.
- Member of JLL leadership team comprising JLL client team, Integral and supply chain partners working with a “one team” ethos.
- Support the Sales and bid activity.
- Manage the P&L of your contracts including sales/growth/costs and WIP/Debt management including fee revenue targets and stretch objectives.
- Establish a robust governance framework that drives collaborative working relationships with all stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities and work with wider stakeholders to develop associated operating models for Integral to add more value to providing additional/alternative services and methods of delivery to drive business development of the Contract.
- Full understanding of Contract SLA and KPI and delivers these whilst ensuring industry best practice.
- Set priorities for the team to ensure task completion, coordinates work activities with others.
- Build Partnerships with Client and Colleagues through open transparent and timely communication.
- Ensure a professional image of JLL-Integral is presented to clients and visitors and ensure excellence in customer service is delivered and promoted at all times.
- Adapt management style to meet changing needs of the business or operational circumstances.
- Inform the Divisional Director of all contract issues that are likely to impact internally or externally on Integral.
- Provide support and coaching for Direct reports.
- Ensure technical support and infrastructure is maintained at all times for the effective operation.
- Ensure an effective process is in place for change management and governance of the estate and contract.
- Prepare & conduct presentations/proposals when required that are suitable for executive level review.
- Ensure contract quality documentation & implementation programs are produced & delivered for the contract.
- Ensure contract renewals are completed within change control procedures & operational performance & the account P&L is reviewed annually.
- Manage action plans to implement any improvement initiatives.
- Make decisions guided by policies, procedures and business plan.
- Continually communicate with Team.
- Recognise, respect and reward the contributions and achievements of others.
- Drive and encourage development of self and others through learning and on the job experience.

- Work with key support workstream leads to develop competitive service offering.
- Leverage benefits of our market leading technological platforms and tools to develop service offering and customer experience.
- Implement any change process agreed to improve operational performance.
- Development of service offering, particularly project work to all business units within the Integral group.
- Ensure good working relationships are developed between all departments within the business.
- Ensure correct control measures and cost controls are in place.
- Ensure quality assurance procedures are adhered to and any new policies.
- Ensure commercial agreements are in place and change control is up to date across all accounts, reviewed annually as a minimum.
Experience Required:
- Managerial experience at Account Manager or above within technical and or hard services is essential.
- A proven track record in the commercial / corporate sector with excellent knowledge of the industry market.
- Ability to work effectively within a matrix management structure.
- New business hunter qualities as well as very strong account management skills.
- Able to build positive relationships with Client in order to speedily resolve day to day operational problems and identify opportunities for increasing the level of profitable business arising from these relationships.
- Communicate using appropriate styles, methods and timings.
- Role Model enthusiasm and energy about their work and encourages others to do the same.
- Demonstrate resourcefulness when acquiring additional professional expertise.

- Strong technical knowledge and experience, coupled with in-depth knowledge of next generation maintenance methods including condition-based maintenance and exploitation of remote monitoring technology.
Qualifications Required:
- Industry relevant qualifications and demonstrable experience.
- IOSHMS.
- Competent working knowledge of M&E or Fabric disciplines.
- Sound level of administration and organisational skills.
- Account Leadership experience.
- Computer literate Word, Excel, Outlook.
