They are seeking a Temporary Proofreader to join their team in Manchester City Centre. As a Proofreader your primary role will be to meticulously review content, identifying and correcting grammar, spelling, punctuation. You'll ensure consistency in language, style, and formatting to elevate the readability and impact of written works. Responsibilities:
- Carefully review and edit a variety of documents, including but not limited to scientific publications, marketing materials and website content
- Correct grammar, spelling, punctuation
- Ensure consistent language, style and formatting
- Collaborate with the team to ensure accuracy and adherence to deadlines
- Provide suggestions for improving overall written content
Requirements:
- Proven experience in proofreading and editing, preferably within a scientific, marketing, or related field
