Technical Materials Manager Healthcare Products Job in Berkshire Location: Reading Contract Duration: 12 Month contract Our client is a multinational consumer goods corporation specializing in a wide range of personal care and hygiene products, organized into several segments including Beauty, Grooming, Health Care, Fabric & Home Care, and Baby and Feminine care. Job Description Responsibilities of this role will be to lead technical materials projects for global OTC and Food Supplement brands. As the key technical contact, you will be expected to ensure required supply, quality, and regulatory aspects are managed, enabling projects to be planned and executed with excellence. Strong collaboration across functions such as Quality, Safety, Regulatory, Purchases, Operations, Engineering, and Brand, as well as with other R&D groups and more broadly across our other technical innovation sites globally, will be essential to succeed, as will the ability to communicate effectively with external suppliers. Specifically, the role will require raw material data to be collected, rigorously checked, documented, and shared in a high quality and timely manner with multi-functional project partners. Technical Skills: Must Have: Strong technical skills and knowledge of manufacturing processes. Advanced skills in critical appraisal of data. Ability to manage tasks and responsibilities across multiple projects with minimal supervision. Collaborative approach to work. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Nice To Have: Scientific degree such as Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials, Life Sciences, etc. Experience of qualifying raw material and consumer goods products.
