We are partnering with a leading accountancy practice to help strengthen their advisory team in London. They are looking for an experienced Director to provide technical accounting advice and drive business development. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, sectors, and projects, with a focus on delivering high-quality service, managing financials, and driving operational efficiencies.

The successful candidate will play a key role in business development, building client relationships, and identifying opportunities for cross-selling services. To excel in this role, you should be a chartered accountant at a Director level, and possess up-to-date knowledge of IFRS, UK GAAP, and Company law. You should also have substantial experience in providing technical accounting advice on areas such as IFRS 9, 15, 16, acquisition accounting, revenue recognition, and financial instruments.

In addition, you will have a proven track record in business development, with experience in acquiring new clients and nurturing commercial relationships. The ability to generate and maintain industry contacts will be essential.
