We are currently seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Support Administrator to join our passionate IRO (Independent Reviewing Officer) Team. This is a varied and rewarding role where you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive administrative and financial support to the team, contributing to the wellbeing of Cumbria's people. This is a hybrid position offering the flexibility of both office and home working.
In this role you will:
- Be a master of organisation: Manage calendars, schedule meetings, prepare agendas, take minutes, and handle correspondence, ensuring statutory timescales and confidentiality are met.
- Be a helpful and friendly voice: Act as a first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, handling queries with professionalism and sensitivity, including those from service users who may be experiencing challenging circumstances.
- Be financially savvy: Manage a range of financial processes, including procurement using e-procurement systems, invoice reconciliation, payment processing, and budget monitoring.
- Be a team player: Support team working by allocating and checking work, providing support and instruction to colleagues as needed.
What you'll bring to the team:
- Experience and qualifications: NQF/NVQ Level 2 or 3, or equivalent experience working within an office environment, ideally within a large, complex organisation.
- Strong IT skills: Proficiency in MS Office Suite and experience using databases and electronic case recording systems.
- Excellent communication skills: Proven ability to communicate effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, both verbally and in writing.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills: Ability to prioritise your own workload, work to deadlines and maintain accurate records.
