About The Role
We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Group Compliance Manager to join a well-established family-run care home group with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care across their residential homes in West Sussex.
This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of CQC compliance, quality assurance, and governance in adult social care. Working closely with the Directors and Registered Managers , you will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance, best practice standards, and continuous service improvement across the group.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a robust compliance framework across all care homes within the group.
- Audit care homes against CQC criteria, providing detailed reports and action plans to enhance service quality.
- Ensure policies and procedures are standardised, up to date, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
- Provide on-site support, observing care practices, liaising with staff, and offering practical guidance to improve compliance.
- Keep up to date with CQC regulations, industry trends, and legislative updates, ensuring homes are fully prepared for inspections.
- Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, responding to compliance-related queries and supporting inspection readiness.
- Lead and manage quality improvement projects, driving best practices and operational efficiency.
- Support care home management teams in delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
What We’re Looking For:
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance in adult social care.
- Experience in auditing, quality assurance, and governance within a care home setting.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with managers, care teams, and regulatory bodies.
- A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work flexibly, balancing on-site visits with remote working.
