About The Role

We are recruiting for an experienced and passionate Group Compliance Manager to join a well-established family-run care home group with a strong reputation for delivering high-quality care across their residential homes in West Sussex.

This role is ideal for a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of CQC compliance, quality assurance, and governance in adult social care. Working closely with the Directors and Registered Managers , you will be instrumental in ensuring regulatory compliance, best practice standards, and continuous service improvement across the group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a robust compliance framework across all care homes within the group.
  • Audit care homes against CQC criteria, providing detailed reports and action plans to enhance service quality.
  • Ensure policies and procedures are standardised, up to date, and aligned with regulatory requirements.
  • Provide on-site support, observing care practices, liaising with staff, and offering practical guidance to improve compliance.
  • Keep up to date with CQC regulations, industry trends, and legislative updates, ensuring homes are fully prepared for inspections.
  • Act as the main point of contact for regulatory bodies, responding to compliance-related queries and supporting inspection readiness.
  • Lead and manage quality improvement projects, driving best practices and operational efficiency.
  • Support care home management teams in delivering exceptional, person-centred care.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of CQC regulations and compliance in adult social care.
  • Experience in auditing, quality assurance, and governance within a care home setting.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with managers, care teams, and regulatory bodies.
  • A proactive and solution-focused mindset, with the ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong report writing and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to work flexibly, balancing on-site visits with remote working.
