University College Birmingham is seeking a dedicated and flexible Maintenance Assistant to join our fast-paced Estates Department. Your role will assist in ensuring that the University is maintained to the highest standard. You will be working with a welcoming and helpful team consisting of six other skilled maintenance operatives.
You will provide both reactive and planned maintenance support, including statutory testing and basic repairs to electrical and mechanical systems and building fabric. You will also assist Maintenance Technicians and trades teams in their duties, ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
