About The Role
Based off Charing Cross Road, OMD EMEA are currently recruiting for a talented Marketing Science Senior Manager to work for one of the most extraordinary and powerful brands in the world. At OMD, we provide our clients with innovative media strategies, along with big ideas that are driven by insights. We deliver smart marketing and strategic advice through the combination of data and insight.
As a Senior Manager, you will be focused on driving the effectiveness of our media strategies. This will involve improving how we report with clean data, running bespoke analysis to identify the drivers in media performance and innovate our measurement methods. The expectation is that you will be able to work across the media lifecycle, from marketing strategy, measurement design & setup to data collection and running insights reviews back to stakeholders.
Areas of responsibility
- Marketing Strategy & Media Measurement
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of marketing objectives and the underlying strategy to consult on Learning Agendas and Measurement Frameworks.
- Work closely with media specialists to inform ideal campaign setup.
- Maintain a relationship with publishers to better leverage measurement tools.
- Reporting, Analytics & Insights
- Maintenance and development of existing data pipelines, processes and reporting tools.
- Conduct research and lead Advanced Analytics projects to assess and improve media performance with innovative methods.
- Translating complex data points into clear, concise and actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders to inform media strategy.
- Team, Project & Stakeholder Management
- Build and maintain proactive relationships across teams to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
- Project management and an ability to build processes from scratch to resolve blockers and deliver day-to-day milestones and deadlines.
- Proactively seek opportunities for new project scopes.
About You
- Experience in a media, analytics, or similar environment.
- Expertise in SQL and working with databases.
- Familiarity with Python, R, or similar programming language.
- Experience with statistical methods and experimental design.
- A passion for analytics and data science, with a desire to both learn and up-skill junior members.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple concurrent tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in Statistics, Mathematics, Business, Marketing, Economics, or related field.
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and Keynote.
- Familiarity with underlying concepts of ad-serving and web analytics tools.
- Experience managing direct reports.
- Familiarity with database design and underlying technologies.
- Experience with digital ad effectiveness analysis.
- Experience with BI tools, particularly Tableau and PowerBI.
