About the Role:

Are you a seasoned Safety Case Engineer looking for your next challenge? We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Safety Case Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 12-month contract. This role offers the flexibility to be based in one of our multiple locations: Warrington, Bristol, Newbury, or Leicester.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and delivery of safety case documentation for major projects.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on safety case management and regulatory compliance.
• Conduct rigorous safety assessments and risk analyses to ensure high standards of safety and reliability.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to integrate safety case requirements into project design and execution.
• Engage with stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, to communicate safety case findings and recommendations.
• Mentor and support junior safety case engineers, fostering a culture of safety excellence.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Extensive experience in safety case engineering, preferably within the nuclear or high-hazard industries.
• Proven track record of leading safety case projects from inception to completion.
• In-depth knowledge of safety case regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex technical information.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
• Degree in Engineering, Science, or a related field. Chartered Engineer status is highly desirable.
