Production Manager – Gluten-Free Pizza Base Factory

Our small but dynamic factory specializing in the production of high-quality, gluten-free pizza bases is looking for a Production Manager to lead our operations and help take our business to grow.

The Role:

As Production Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing daily factory operations, optimizing production processes, and ensuring the consistent delivery of top-tier products. Reporting directly to the Director, you will lead a team of skilled workers in a collaborative and hands-on environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Oversee daily production operations, ensuring output meets quality and efficiency targets.
2. Manage and motivate the production team to achieve optimal performance.
3. Monitor and maintain adherence to food safety and health & safety regulations (e.g., HACCP, SALSA).
4. Develop and implement strategies to improve production efficiency and reduce waste.
5. Ensure equipment is maintained and operational as needed.
6. Plan production schedules and manage inventory to meet customer demand.
7. Prepare regular reports on production performance and KPIs.

1. Proven experience in a production management or supervisory role in food manufacturing.
2. Strong understanding of food safety standards and regulatory compliance.
3. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.

5. Strong organizational skills, with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
6. Hands-on experience with production planning, process improvement, and KPI management.
