Mrs Sourdough Bakery is a bakery, patisserie, and coffee shop located in Chatham, Kent. Known for their artisan sourdough bread made with traditional methods and a passion for real bread, their shop offers a variety of freshly baked goods, cakes, savoury treats, lunches, coffee, and much more.
This is a full time/part time position for an experienced and passionate baker with experience in creating, testing, and perfecting sourdough bread and pastries. The position offers scope for someone who is keen to develop and test new and exciting recipes, enhance and optimise existing recipes, whilst also maintaining the Mrs Sourdough experience for their customers. The baker would be responsible for all bakery tasks, food preparation, maintaining cleanliness standards, and bread production on a daily basis. This is an on-site role based out of their bakery in Chatham High Street, Kent, so would ideally suit someone who lives within a commutable distance due to the high demand they have.
The ideal candidate should possess the following skills/experience:
- Bakery and Baking skills
- Experience in Food Preparation
- Knowledge of baking Pastries and Bread
- Ability to follow recipes and instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and dexterity for working in a bakery setting
