A highly successful global asset management firm is looking to hire an equity analyst to join their top performing long-only global equity team.
In this role, you will assist the Portfolio Managers with detailed analysis of a number of stocks and provide investment ideas for the global equity fund.
Key responsibilities:
- Make investment recommendations through detailed company research, financial modelling and meeting with company management.
- Constantly monitor existing holdings; examining periodic results releases, meeting companies, attending site visits.
- Develop own financial models, at the same time having a strong practical and conceptual understanding of valuation frameworks.
- Assist the lead Portfolio Manager in the day-to-day running of portfolios.
Experience and Qualifications:
- At least 3-5 yearsβ equity research experience at a buy-side or sell-side institution.
- Solid understanding of business model drivers and tail risks.
- CFA Charterholder or currently working towards CFA qualification.
- Ability to work in a collegiate team environment and have a sense of humility.
- Able to continually learn, improve and manage own investment mistakes and frustrations.
- Passion for investing.
