About the role: Ensure that Multimatic products and services meet all the necessary customer requirements by ensuring stock is accurate at all times, leading the stores team in best practices and implementing continuous improvement utilising modern manufacturing principles by highlighting deficiencies in processes and working practices.

What you will do:

  • Manage the booking-in of parts on the IMS/SAP system, ensuring 99% accuracy at goods receipt
  • Ensure stock systems are up to date and in line with MP&L trackers and SAP/IMS systems
  • Accountable for stock maintenance, ensuring cycle counting takes place on a regular schedule
  • Responsible for ensuring that the criterion for the annual financial audit is met
  • Liaise with all departments to ensure overall project deadlines are achieved
  • Inform/deliver orders to recipients around the building
  • Prepare finished goods to go for further processes within the required 12 hour SLA
  • Arrange shipments and ensure shipment documentation is correct and controlled through SAP
  • Responsible for organising and maintaining the Stores area
  • Ensure all products are labelled and stored correctly
  • Manage workload to ensure month-end deadlines are met
  • Ensure parts are processed through Quality, next process chain to ensure production flow
  • Lead the Stores team and delegate tasks accordingly
  • Collate information for KPI’s
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen principles and concepts, and participate in continuous improvement
  • Maintain working knowledge of safety policies and regulations to ensure duties of self and others are performed in a safe manner
  • Manage and maintain live tracker of timesheet data, holidays, and absence
  • Lead by example, demonstrating the behaviours, communication, and work ethic that is expected of the team
  • Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.

What we need from you:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent SAP knowledge within a warehousing environment
  • Demonstrable and proven history of best practice for Stock taking
  • Working knowledge of shipping and receiving best practices
  • An understanding of financial budgets
  • Proactive approach to work, with a positive and professional attitude
  • A keen eye for detail and a result driven approach
  • Strong communication skills, written and verbal, enabling you to liaise with and relay information to all relevant stakeholders within the business
  • Strong ability with numbers and data analysis skills
  • Comprehensive IT skills: Microsoft Excel and SAP experience is essential
  • Excellent organisation and leadership skills
  • Previous experience managing and developing a team
  • Problem-solving mentality with proven knowledge of 8D and root cause analysis
  • Previous experience working in a low-volume manufacturing environment, preferably automotive
  • Commitment to support the needs of the business, team members, and colleagues
