Trainee Customs Entry Specialist/Cross Border co-ordinator required to join this leading agent close to LHR.

Successful candidate will be learning across two departments: Customs entry team and Cross Border Team. Full training given; however, a basic understanding within the logistics industry is desired.

Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9-5.30. Salary: £24k-£28k.

This client would like someone who ideally has some experience in logistics, good Excel skills, excellent communication, and an enthusiastic attitude.

The purpose of this position is to learn support and analysis for ensuring credit terms compliance, and preparing entry and post-entry documents.

Essential Functions:
  • Training given
  • Process customs clearance confirming all necessary data and documents are available.
  • Investigate, resolve and communicate operational or entry issues.
  • Review fundamental components related to client requirements that include accounting, credit, customs bond, audit instructions and billing.
  • Review entry details and verify compliance.
  • Enter all billing charges into system.
  • Participate in ISO audits and documentation updates.
  • Cross Border - via Roadfreight.
