Our client, one of the UK’s largest Occupational Hygiene consultancies, is looking for an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a fast-growing business, working on a variety of projects across the UK and potentially international locations.
While the company is based in Stockport, this is a home-based role with nationwide travel to client sites. You’ll play a key role in assessing and controlling occupational hygiene risks in various workplace environments.
Key Responsibilities- Conducting occupational hygiene assessments, including:
- Workplace Air Monitoring
- Workplace Noise Assessments
- Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Examination & Testing
- Strong understanding of occupational hygiene with practical consultancy experience
- BOHS or IOA qualifications in at least one of the following:
- W501 (Measurement of Hazardous Substances)
- W503 (Noise Measurement and its Effects)
- W505 (Control of Hazardous Substances)
- W507 (Health Effects of Hazardous Substances)
- P601 (LEV Proficiency)
- Self-motivated and well-organised with a flexible approach to work, including overnight stays
- Able to manage workloads effectively to meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail
- Ambitious and eager to progress within a supportive team, aiming for CertOH or LFOH accreditation
