Our client, one of the UK’s largest Occupational Hygiene consultancies, is looking for an experienced Occupational Hygienist to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your career in a fast-growing business, working on a variety of projects across the UK and potentially international locations.

While the company is based in Stockport, this is a home-based role with nationwide travel to client sites. You’ll play a key role in assessing and controlling occupational hygiene risks in various workplace environments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conducting occupational hygiene assessments, including:
  • Workplace Air Monitoring
  • Workplace Noise Assessments
  • Local Exhaust Ventilation (LEV) Examination & Testing
  • Engaging with clients, including site visits for inductions, contract work, and review meetings
  • Ensuring compliance with Element’s accredited Quality Management System
  • Producing high-quality technical reports with detailed findings and recommendations
  • Requirements
    • Strong understanding of occupational hygiene with practical consultancy experience
    • BOHS or IOA qualifications in at least one of the following:
    • W501 (Measurement of Hazardous Substances)
    • W503 (Noise Measurement and its Effects)
    • W505 (Control of Hazardous Substances)
    • W507 (Health Effects of Hazardous Substances)
    • P601 (LEV Proficiency)
  • Additional experience in Hand-Arm & Whole-Body Vibration Assessments, COSHH Risk Assessments, Legionella Risk Assessments, EMF Assessments, or Environmental Noise is desirable
  • Full UK driving licence (a company vehicle or car allowance is provided)
