The purpose of your role will be to support site due diligence in producing safe, legal, authentic, and quality food through managing all aspects of technical administration.
Key tasks

Supervision of the Technical Administrator including delegating tasks, ensuring accuracy of work, providing training, and conducting appraisals.

Generate and approve specifications for new products or processes (both internal and customer).

Assist with the supplier approval process in conjunction with the Quality Manager.

Oversee and conduct internal audits, raising any non-conformances.

Oversee the complaints system including reporting, investigation, and trending.

Generate pack copies from specifications and nutritional results and artwork sign-off.

Support the HACCP plan.

Provide technical guidance and advise the wider business on legal and customer requirements, particularly with respect to labelling, specifications, and nutritional targets.

Experience working in a technical role in food or beverage manufacturing.

HACCP Level 2 (ideally Level 3).

Internal audit training.

Experience with specification writing and artwork process.

High levels of attention to detail and excellent communication skills.

Ability to prioritise multiple projects/workstreams and delegate effectively.
