Responsible Individual – Children's Home Location: Blackpool Salary: £60k-£70k + Bonuses Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent We are seeking an experienced Responsible Individual to oversee an Ofsted-registered children's home in Blackpool. What You'll Do: Ensure the home operates in compliance with Ofsted regulations and Children's Homes Regulations 2015. Provide leadership and support to the Registered Manager and residential care team. Oversee safeguarding policies, risk management, and quality assurance processes. Act as the key liaison with local authorities, regulatory bodies, and stakeholders. Drive continuous improvement and ensure positive outcomes for children in care. What We're Looking For: ✔ Proven experience in children's residential care at a senior level. ✔ Strong knowledge of Ofsted requirements, safeguarding, and child protection. ✔ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership & Management. ✔ Passion for providing high-quality care and driving positive change.
