KiddyKare are looking for an Administrator & Childcare Deputy Manager for a small childcare setting in Maidenhead. The nursery has access to a lovely outdoor provision which they use regularly. You would be working Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week in the term time and 30 hours per week in the school holidays. With a salary starting from £25,000.

Main Duties:
- To process bookings and update website information
- Add event listings to social media accounts
- Working with the manager to create rotas
- Using excel to manage budgets
- To assist the Manager with supervising the day-to-day management of all areas of the club, leading the staff, training them and encouraging their personal development to thrive
- To ensure the children in your care aged 3-14 years have fun, with a range of activities including sports, outdoor play, arts and crafts, baking, experiments, homework sessions and work in partnership with parents at all times
- To have a positive impact on the setting engaging with staff and supporting them with their roles
- Ensuring the risk assessments are done, clear and capturing all risks of every aspect of the setting to ensure all staff, children and parents are safe at all times and followed by the staff
- In the absence of the Manager, ensure you work alongside the Head Office team who will notify you of attendance changes for permanent bookings/ ad hoc/ extra sessions, staffing changes, venue changes and the logistics of operating the clubs
- To be the Deputy Designated Safeguarding lead for the setting
Person Specification:
- To have a full and recognised Level 3 Childcare qualification
- Have Level 2 Safeguarding, FGM prevention, Prevent Duty training and ensure this remains up to date
- Experience in a leadership role
- As stated in the EYFS, a good standard of written and spoken English. Also able to read and understand English such as to follow instructions or interpret a policy
- In depth knowledge of safeguarding children and child protection and appropriate protocol
- Evidence of ongoing professional development including childcare specific training
- Disclosure and Barring Service Check
