As an Operator Engineer, you’ll work in our factory on a packing line, ensuring the smooth and optimal running of the line machinery. You’ll be focused on production targets, quality, safety and efficiency standards., The role will also involve:

Operating certain machines (such as labellers and packing machines)

Ensuring machines are set for optimum output

Carrying out pre-start checks on your area of responsibility to verify our safe ways of working are being adhered to

Ensuring that all maintenance, lubrication and cleaning schedules are met

Recording of data electronically on factory floor touch screens as well as some paper-based documents (this requires good written English)

Identifying opportunities for improvement and keeping waste to a minimum

be able to demonstrate prior mechanical experience working with machinery in a factory environment

Be able to work in a fast-paced environment

Be capable of manual handling tasks

Demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail in order to follow procedures safely and efficiently
