Our client is a global leader in ship management and marine services, adding value to a vessel's operations. You will undertake the role of Diving Project Manager, ensuring that the project is managed in accordance with customer expectations, our client's Quality Management system, Group Policies, and marine industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Embrace our client's safety culture, reporting all safety observations to avoid escalation of unsafe acts.
  • Do not start work if you have not been briefed on the safe system of work that you are undertaking.
  • Support the Project Team in delivering all diving projects by preparing safe systems of work and dive project plans.
  • Plan, supervise, manage and perform tasks such as but not limited to; feasibility studies, design studies, detail design, plan approval work, site supervision, specification writing, and cost estimating.
  • Prepare quotes and ITTs for new business.
  • Monitor the technical and financial performance of the project.
  • Support the Senior Project Manager in developing technical and project management capability (people, processes, and tools).
  • Liaise with stakeholders to ensure expectations and requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Maintain a high level of knowledge on current health and safety methods of working to supervise a project and its personnel and advise appropriately.

Qualifications/Experience Required

  • Engineering or project management qualification or extended industry experience.
  • Knowledge of UK Diving at Work Regulations 1997 and supporting codes of practice.
  • Hold a recognised Project Management qualification commensurate with the position.
  • Computer literate with knowledge and experience in the use of Microsoft Office Professional (including MS Project).
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance up to SC.

Experience Desired

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in afloat ship repair on in-shore/offshore diving projects.
