- This role has a flexible start time; however, we would be looking for someone who can start as soon as possible.
- Availability to volunteer on the day of the event (Saturday 5th July) is essential.
- This role carries an average volunteer time of 4 - 6 hours per week.

Your Role
In this hands-on role as Onboarding Team Leader within People & Culture at Pride in London, you'll create engaging induction experiences, develop comprehensive training programmes, and ensure a smooth integration for both our full-time and on-the-day volunteers. This crucial position strengthens our volunteer journey by providing clear guidance, essential knowledge, and a warm welcome that sets everyone up for success from day one. Working closely with the Operations team, you'll build the foundations that transform enthusiastic supporters into confident, well-prepared members of the Pride in London family.
Your Responsibilities
- Design and implement induction programmes for new all year round volunteers, ensuring they receive the information, training, and resources needed to thrive in their roles.
- Develop engaging materials and sessions that introduce new volunteers to Pride in London's mission, values, and organisational structure.
- Create streamlined onboarding processes for on-the-day volunteers, working closely with our Deputy Director for Recruitment and Process to ensure everyone is well-prepared for event day responsibilities.
- Build a welcoming community for new volunteers, facilitating connections with established team members and fostering a sense of belonging from day one.
- Continuously evaluate and improve onboarding experiences through volunteer feedback, ensuring our approach remains effective, inclusive, and engaging.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for new volunteers, addressing questions, providing guidance, and connecting them with appropriate resources and team members.
