Overview We are looking for an experienced Data Governance media expert to join a multi-disciplinary team with ambitions of transforming marketing whilst working with one of the biggest clients in the world. Responsibilities Key Responsibilities: Develop, engineer, document, and implement an effective data governance framework, including workflows, processes, standards, and procedures for managing and ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the lifecycle of data. Create and validate data mapping and business rules to meet KPI metric requirements across multiple data sources. Data Quality compliance by monitoring and evaluating data quality across multiple systems and sources, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing measures to enhance accuracy, availability, and reliability of data. Ability to work with global and regional teams to ensure they are compliant with taxonomy standards, data standards, and data processes. Lead collaborative conversations between business stakeholders and technology stakeholders in defining and implementing data management initiatives. Ability to train multiple stakeholder groups on data strategies, processes, procedures, and tools. Ability to facilitate productive conversations to help teams find solutions to data challenges. Ability to take ambiguous ideas and turn them into action through impeccable communication skills. Understand and be able to communicate data risk, identify mitigation strategies, and escalate to appropriate stakeholders. Document, develop, implement, and manage consistent taxonomy and naming convention throughout the lifecycle of data. Work with internal teams and clients to develop and iterate Data Governance processes and products to guarantee the highest data quality. Point of contact for regional clients and local and global internal media teams in case of emergency and escalation when related to data governance. Work with multiple stakeholders to help improve data governance processes, documentation, data quality, and maintain compliance against a defined taxonomy. Oversee Data Governance associates in managing taxonomy within multiple platforms. Contribute to the evolution of the measurement framework to ensure all relevant metrics are captured correctly. Ensure data collection is aligned with the client measurement framework and is captured accurately. Work closely with our dashboard development teams by providing data business rules, standards, and requirements for the development of new views when required and optimization of existing views to increase usage and user satisfaction. Qualifications To be successful in this role you will need: Provide leadership and be a subject-matter expert on data governance standards across Media and First Party Data. Critical thinking to understand business challenges and help address as needed. Ability to prioritize tasks appropriately and multi-task as needed. Strong skills in process, project management and support in training. Will be expected to complete daily work while supporting regional and global teams in their work. Experience with MS Excel such as pivot tables, formula functions and macros. Experience managing/working with project management tools such as Jira, SmartSheets, project plans, Microsoft Project. Experience with data visualization tool(s), automation, and data workflows. Familiarity with various digital media technologies such as ad server, Campaign Frameworks. Highly polished, accurate and on point – very meticulous, independent, strong critical thinker and ability to juggle multiple tasks/requests/emails.
