Exams Access Arrangements Assessor / Coordinator SPLD Level 7 Assessor Waltham Forest From £40 – £65 per hour (pay type and experience dependent) LT Support are urgently seeking an Exams Access Arrangements Assessor /Coordinator for our partner college in Waltham Forest. * Coordinating and completing the Exam Access Arrangements process across the college in line with JCQ and awarding body requirements. * Coordinating and providing specialist screening and assessment of learners with suspected and/or diagnosed Specific Learning Difficulties for learner Exam Access * Making arrangements in line with JCQ guidelines. * Work with a caseload of learners, providing support to meet learners’ needs as determined through the assessment process. * Raise staff awareness of Dyslexia / Specific Learning Difficulties and other barriers to learning across the college. Requirements: Applications are welcome from Level 7 qualified Assessors for SpLD The ideal candidate must have: – Relevant experience as an exam access arrangements assessor – Experience of working with learners with additional needs – Up to date knowledge of JCQ regulations and exam access arrangements – Strong interpersonal skills Essential: – Enhanced DBS on the Update Service – Grade C or higher in English and Maths GCSE/Equivalent – Teaching qualification – DET; HLTA;DTLLS; QTS; QTLS; PGCE etc – Good working knowledge of IT – Right to work in the UK LT Support will try to respond to all applications within three working days.
