We are seeking a highly capable Executive Assistant to support the CEO of a growing, well-backed tech start-up. This is a key role requiring someone strategic, reliable, and proactive β an EA who can operate as a true extension of the CEO, both professionally and personally.
The CEO is exceptionally bright and commercially sharp, with an impressive background in the tech industry. The pace is fast, the expectations are high, and the support required goes well beyond the traditional. Start-up or scale-up experience is essential. This environment moves quickly, with shifting priorities and evolving demands β we need someone who thrives in this kind of setting and knows how to bring structure to pace.
Key responsibilities include:
- Acting as a strategic partner to the CEO, managing priorities, ensuring alignment, and supporting timely decision-making
- Complex diary and inbox management across multiple time zones
- Handling confidential business and personal matters with the utmost discretion
- Preparing briefing documents, agendas and follow-ups for meetings
- Supporting investor relations and internal operations when required
- Anticipating needs and proactively resolving issues before they arise
Weβre looking for:
- A senior-level EA with experience supporting a founder, CEO or C-suite leader β with proven experience in a start-up or scale-up environment
- Someone commercially aware, emotionally intelligent, and confident working at senior level
- Exceptionally organised, calm under pressure, and trusted to deliver at a consistently high standard
- Able to manage multiple priorities independently, with sound judgement and discretion
- Comfortable in a hybrid set-up, with flexibility to be in Central London once a week
