We are seeking an experienced and visionary Senior Product Manager to join our dynamic development team. This pivotal role will drive the strategic direction, vision, and ownership of our cutting-edge art tech platform. As a young SaaS product with immense potential for evolution in the art-tech space, we are looking for someone who thrives in startup environments, can pivot product direction based on continuous user discovery, and handle changes with ease. You’ll have the exciting opportunity to be one of the first product hires in the company so an entrepreneurial attitude to leading product is key.
Location: England, UK (remote with weekly commute to London office, no visa sponsorship)
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Vision & Ownership:
- Develop and drive the product strategy and vision.
- Take full ownership of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Ensure the product is enterprise SaaS ready, focusing on security, scalability, and usability.
Customer Insight & Growth:
- Deeply understand how customers use our platform to identify growth opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth customer interviews to gather insights and feedback.
- Identify user personas and create comprehensive profiles to inform product development.
Feature Development & UX Design:
- Lead the UX and design of new features, ensuring they meet user needs.
- Build wireframes and conduct user testing to refine designs and ensure optimal user experience.
- Manage and align development and design teams with the business objectives.
- Maintain and prioritize the product backlog and roadmap to ensure continuous progress.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business owners to understand product usage and needs.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their challenges and requirements.
- Present and run product workshops with potential B2B customers to showcase our solutions.
Product Optimization & Analytics:
- Continually test and optimise new features based on user feedback.
- Develop a backend analytics dashboard detailing user statistics and journeys.
- Create methodologies to analyse new features in terms of cost, revenue, and user metrics.
Success Metrics (First 6 to 12 Months)
- Identify and interview various user personas to gather comprehensive insights on who our target market is and why.
- Play a leading part in enhancing the website user journey and UX to convert site visitors into the sales funnel.
- Create wireframes and UX/UI designs with a robust user testing methodology.
- Develop a customer-presentable product roadmap for the next six months.
- Take full ownership and management of the product roadmap.
- Establish useful analytics dashboards detailing user statistics and journey which invoke insights and actions.
- Establish methodologies for analysing new features in terms of cost, revenue, and user metrics.
- Ensure the product is enterprise SaaS ready, focusing on security, scalability, and usability.
- Assist in building a product and business plan for B2B SaaS sales to major partners like auction houses and insurance companies.
- Research and integrate AI deeply into the solution.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Minimum of five years of product management experience.
- Previous experience working in a startup environment.
- Background in B2B2C environments.
- Strong understanding of UX/UI, analytics, and B2C strategies.
- Experience in the art, eCommerce, or portfolio management sectors.
- Ability to drive AI integration into the product.
