SSA have partnered up with an Earthworks/Ground works company as they are on the lookout for a HSEQ Manager which will ensure the implementation and maintenance of HSEQ practices across civil engineering projects, focusing on earthworks and groundworks operations. You’ll work closely with site teams to uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Health & Safety: Oversee site safety, conduct audits, deliver inductions, and investigate incidents to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Environmental Management: Ensure adherence to environmental policies, manage waste, and promote sustainability on site.
- Quality Assurance: Implement quality management systems, monitor workmanship, and ensure compliance with project specifications.
- Compliance & Reporting: Maintain HSEQ documentation, prepare performance reports, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Training & Development: Deliver training to site teams and support the development of a safety-first culture.
Essential Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as an HSEQ Manager in civil engineering (earthworks/groundworks focus).
- NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health & Safety (or equivalent).
- Strong knowledge of HSEQ regulations, ISO 9001 & 14001 standards.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
