CB Resourcing are supporting a prestigious global law firm that are seeking a Senior Knowledge Manager with a systems focus who will lead and optimize their knowledge solutions to provide a cohesive user experience. The position is supported by a global team and has considerable buy-in from internal sponsors. This is a London-based role and would be extremely well-suited to an experienced KM professional with expertise in legal knowledge systems and technology. The role provides an opportunity to drive innovation, inspire change, and collaborate across multiple teams to enhance processes and tools.
The primary objectives and responsibilities in this Knowledge Management role include, but are not limited to:
- Defining, developing and implementing knowledge systems strategies for the region.
- Supporting the firms practice groups in refining their knowledge management approaches and culture.
- Optimisation of processes and technologies for capturing and delivering knowledge assets.
- Aligning KM systems with practice group needs through effective and robust frameworks.
- Enhancing functionality within KM solutions to align with and meet user demands.
- Establishing robust quality control processes and frameworks for sustained knowledge asset management.
- Collaborating globally to create an impactful knowledge function.
- Partnering with IT and Digital Legal Delivery teams to ensure effective ecosystems of knowledge-related technology.
- Driving the improvement of user experiences and facilitate adoption of new technologies.
- Horizon scanning and identifying opportunities for client-facing knowledge products with stakeholders.
To be suitable for this Knowledge Management role, a strong mix of the following is required:
- Considerable KM systems management experience within legal or broader professional services sectors.
- A deep understanding of current and emerging technologies for knowledge sharing initiatives and collaboration.
- An understanding of legal workflows related to knowledge submission and delivery.
- Highly refined project management expertise, leadership, influencing, and communication skills.
- Programme management experience would be extremely desirable.
- Knowledge or Information Architecture experience for designing SharePoint based solutions or similar technologies.
