Our client is seeking a Head of Payroll & Pensions which involves a variety of responsibilities to ensure the smooth operation of payroll and pension processes.
Duties include:
- Leadership and Management: Overseeing the payroll and pensions team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments for all employees on a high volume basis using Midland I-Trent.
- Compliance: Ensuring all statutory reporting deadlines are met, including HMRC, RTI, and other government requirements.
- Process Improvement: Continuously improving payroll systems and processes, including implementing new legislation and company policies.
- Employee Benefits and Deductions: Managing employee benefits, deductions, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
- Reporting: Handling regular reporting to HMRC, including year-end procedures like P60, P11D, and PSA processing.
- Team Development: Providing coaching and development support to optimise team performance.
- Collaboration: Working closely with other departments to meet business requirements and ensure effective communication.
You will have:
- Strong Payroll Management experience.
- Start to finish hands on payroll processing including BACS payment, EPS, FPS, Reports and Reconciliations.
- Strong team leadership skills.
- Must have previously used Midland I-Trent.
- Available Immediately.
