Our Product team is seeking a skilled Senior Software Engineer to drive the evolution of our cloud-native solutions. You will work on complex technical challenges to enhance our market-leading solutions, which power automated mortgage decisions for major UK lenders.
What we are looking for in a Senior Software Engineer:
- Practical, hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and ensuring operational stability.
- Proficient in one or more OOPS programming languages (mainly .NET).
- Deep understanding of software applications and technical processes, with significant expertise in specific technical areas (e.g., SQL) and scaling within an enterprise cloud environment.
- Capable of independently addressing design and functionality issues with minimal supervision.
- Advanced knowledge of testing automation, multiple programming languages (such as Java and .NET), Infrastructure as Code (like Terraform).
- Demonstrated ability to perform in high-pressure situations while adhering to strict budget constraints and meeting tight deadlines, all while prioritising team well-being.
- Adopts a lean methodology focused on value, experimentation, and continuous improvement, prioritising collaborative problem-solving over mere problem identification.
- Able to navigate uncertainty and work autonomously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the capability to explain technical information to diverse audiences.
