Are you looking for a new and exciting challenge, with a forward thinking organisation within the high tech engineering sector? The Hyde Group are established Industry experts within Aerospace Engineering and have a new vacancy for a Project Engineer, working out of our Atherton (Manchester) site.

About the opportunity

This exciting role would involve you supporting with the management of one of our Key Accounts. You will be responsible for carrying contract reviews with this customer, responding to Request for Quotations and providing progress reports. You’ll use your expertise to drive continuous improvement activity and ensure that we achieve 100% delivery schedule adherence. Naturally, you will work in partnership with the Key Project Management team to grow the account in line with our business strategy and manage the order book. You’ll be a customer focused individual with strong communication skills.
Essential Skills
- Strong IT skills (Microsoft word and excel).
- Have a good understanding of purchasing and procurement.
- Engineering/Manufacturing background or hold a degree in an engineering discipline.
Desirable skills
- It would be great if you had SAP experience but we will provide you with full training.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- An understanding of Engineering Processes, precision machining and surface treatment disciplines.
- Formal Project Management Qualification would be advantageous; however, we would look to book you onto a course if you don’t already hold this.
