Joining us as a Warehouse Team Manager in our Local Fulfilment Centre (LFC) is an opportunity to make a significant impact on our customers' experience. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver exceptional service to our customers by leading a team within the LFC warehouse function. You’ll focus on upholding legal and budgetary requirements while ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction through agreed SLAs. Leading by example, you’ll foster engagement and uphold our values within your team, maintaining open and effective communication. Your customer-centric approach will prioritise the needs of the customer in all operational activities and decision-making processes. Managing and coaching your colleagues, you’ll drive their performance towards achieving targets and collaborate with other colleagues within the LFC to deliver site results. You’ll also be accountable for maintaining health and safety standards, planning resource activities for your team, and ensuring the accuracy and security of stock. By successfully engaging and inspiring your colleagues, managing and developing the team, and effectively responding to customer demands, you’ll drive a culture where colleagues love to work and contribute to the overall success of the LFC.
As a highly skilled leader, you will provide expertise in warehouse and retail operations. This, together with your knowledge of multi-drop delivery and customer final mile delivery, allows you to prioritise the needs of the customer and drive a team culture where all colleagues understand the impact of their actions on service and business results. With a proven track record in leading large, diverse teams within a unionised environment, you understand effective decision-making abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to listen and respond to customer demands. With your inclusive leadership approach, you actively champion diversity, engage and motivate colleagues at all levels, and demonstrate a customer-centric mindset in making decisions to deliver desired customer outcomes.
