We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Senior Manufacturing Engineer to join our proactive and innovative team.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities within your role will include (but not limited to):

1. In the role of Manufacturing Build Planning Engineer, you will create engineering instructions from design definitions directly linked to the production process.
2. Independently create instructions while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure the accuracy and quality of the engineering method and Bill of Materials.
3. Produce appropriate department documentation.
4. The role also includes technical leadership, and the candidate will be responsible for delegating and supporting the team.
5. Responsible for collaborating with the Belfast office and other UK-based teams.
6. Support with coordinating activities to meet priorities and business requirements.
7. Liaise and manage stakeholders, including external customers as appropriate.
8. Producing quality while keeping within project budgets & time constraints, and potentially changing requirements.
9. Apply correct processes, specifications, procedures & techniques working with support from specialist teams.
10. Work with the engineer manager to highlight any training or development gaps.

Essential skills

1. An ability to apply problem-solving techniques to routine situations or situations of moderate complexity under supervision.
2. Work is within standardised procedures and practices; accuracy of tasks is impactful.
3. An ability to gather information & data to support build.
4. Skills in coordinating people and activities to meet business demand.
5. Be able to plan, prioritise and delegate tasks.
6. A good understanding of how the team integrates with other teams in order to achieve objectives.
7. Good communication in English (oral & written) & interpersonal skills.

Experience

1. An understanding of the manufacturing used within the business.
2. Engineering Drawing Reading and Interpretation including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
3. To be able to access, have a clear understanding of and apply the Quality and HS&E Management System documentation, e.g., Process Instructions, Workmanship Standards, Risk Assessments, etc., applicable to your particular work scope and to obey all HS&E rules and control measures.
4. Knowledge of business processes and procedures.
5. Experience of working with SAP.
6. Experience of working with PLM systems (Teamcenter).
7. Experience of working with stakeholders.

What do I need before I apply

1. Recognising the RESTRICTED nature of the work, suitable candidates will need to be a UK National with minimum BPSS; SC Clearance will be required.
