Level 3 Teaching Assistant

We are looking for a dedicated and caring Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant and supportive primary school team in Stourbridge. Key Responsibilities: * Support the class teacher in the planning and delivery of lessons, ensuring the needs of all learners are met. * Provide targeted support to individuals or small groups of children, both inside and outside the classroom. * Support students with Special Educational Needs (SEN), particularly on a 1:1 basis, ensuring their specific needs are met. * Run and support interventions designed to improve literacy, numeracy, or social and emotional skills. * Assist with classroom management and ensuring a positive, safe, and productive learning environment. * Help monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to the teacher. * Promote positive behaviour, supporting children’s social and emotional development. * Work closely with colleagues, parents, and outside agencies to ensure the best outcomes for pupils. About You: We are looking for a candidate who: * Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent). * Has experience working with children, particularly those with Special Educational Needs (SEN). * Is confident and experienced in providing 1:1 support for children with SEN, as well as running interventions. * Is enthusiastic, motivated, and passionate about working with young children. * Has a good understanding of the curriculum and supporting children with a range of needs. * Is patient, caring, and able to build positive relationships with children and staff. * Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
