Our client is a top-tier asset management firm looking for a Business Development VP with primary coverage of the Middle East to join their Sales team. This role can either be based out of Dubai or London. This role would be ideal for an entrepreneurial and charismatic Sales professional, looking to accelerate their career in a role that provides you with autonomy whilst still maintaining a collaborative team structure. In return for your 5+ years of experience, the role would grant you invaluable experience and development, as well as a generous compensation package.

The Business Development VP will take responsibility for the following duties:

  • Proactively leading the fundraising capabilities on behalf of the firm, raising capital across a range of asset classes.
  • Building strong relationships with Institutional investors within the region, having a strong understanding of Sharia-compliant product development and governance.
  • Driving the asset raising initiatives across the Middle East with coverage of institutional clients, managing key relationships with an extensive client pool.
  • Organising roadshows and partaking in events in order to expand the firmโ€™s presence, generating and capitalising on new opportunities.

The Business Development VP will meet the following skillset:

  • Must have at least 5 yearsโ€™ experience in Business Development/Sales within Investment Management.
  • Book of Institutional clients within the MENA region.
  • Self-motivated individual with a desire to have ownership over a pool of large accounts.
  • Highly organised and engaging individual, able to work across multiple internal teams building relationships with stakeholders both internal and external.
  • Arabic speaker preferred.
