A leading consultancy firm is seeking to hire a talented Building Physics Engineer to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team. As a Building Physics Engineer at the company, you will play a key role in delivering environmental performance analysis and sustainable design strategies across a variety of projects.
Key responsibilities:
- Keeping up to date with changes to regulations, technology and practices in building physics and sustainability
- Conducting dynamic thermal simulation modelling via DesignBuilder, IES
- Carrying out Part L / EPC assessments
- Conducting thermal comfort analysis.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subjects
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a Building Physics role
- Proficient in Energy Modelling, using IESVE software, conducting energy analysis
- Good understanding of UK building regulations and competency in undertaking environmental assessment methods I.E. Part L, SAP, BREEAM
