Salary: £35,000 - £48,000

A leading consultancy firm is seeking to hire a talented Building Physics Engineer to join their collaborative and forward-thinking team. As a Building Physics Engineer at the company, you will play a key role in delivering environmental performance analysis and sustainable design strategies across a variety of projects.

Key responsibilities:

  • Keeping up to date with changes to regulations, technology and practices in building physics and sustainability
  • Conducting dynamic thermal simulation modelling via DesignBuilder, IES
  • Carrying out Part L / EPC assessments
  • Conducting thermal comfort analysis.

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or other relevant subjects
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a Building Physics role
  • Proficient in Energy Modelling, using IESVE software, conducting energy analysis
  • Good understanding of UK building regulations and competency in undertaking environmental assessment methods I.E. Part L, SAP, BREEAM
