We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of BA / PM.

Role purpose: The T-Zero Program at HSBC in MSS (Markets & Securities Services) is a program designed at looking at the Front to back of the business and identifying areas where we can help to make the process or control more efficient by moving them to a T-Zero state. This is generally in the form of fixing existing STP issues, enhancements, automation or building preventative and detective Control layers. This is backed up by a set of deliverables to the Prudential Regulatory Authority (PRA) set in 2023 sponsored by the T-Zero Program.

This BA/PM role will work with Line, Product, Business and IT SME’s/Management to help analyse, oversee and deliver on the BoW under the T-Zero Controls and Reconciliations streams. The incumbent will analyse the current problem statements under the relevant streams and help to build out requirements resulting in a stakeholder relationship with Product Owners and IT to ensure executed deliverables take place in line with agreed timeframes.

Skills and requirements:

  • The BA/PM would ideally have direct experience in Derivative products- Rates & Credit being the key ones.
  • Excellent Stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in having built Reconciliations or managed Reconciliation builds.
  • Understanding of Middle Office and Operations Trade Lifecycle and Trade Validation Controls.
  • Knowledge of OTC derivative products and valuations of such.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
  • Good communication skills, verbal and written.
  • Has experience of working on these types of projects/programs/initiatives.
  • Has experience of writing Business Requirement Documents (BRD’s).
  • Good PC skills, specifically Excel & PowerPoint, a plus if they have SQL/Coding abilities (Can read code).
  • Nice to have, - system experience in Rates/Credit/Rec Platforms: Summit, Calypso, Xfos, Mrtkwire, DTCC.
  • Nice to have - reconciliation platform experience in TLM and/or DUCO (Specific to Recs BA role).
