Job Title: Development Coach Reports to: Lead IQA Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Salary: £30,000 per annum Location: London Expected Learner Caseload: 40 About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and passionate Development Coach to deliver Health and Social Care qualifications to individual learners. This role involves both distance learning through our online portal and face-to-face observations of competency, conducted 2-3 times throughout the Apprenticeship/Diploma. Face-to-face visits may also be arranged for learners who prefer in-person support. Key Responsibilities: * Deliver engaging and effective teaching and learning for Adult Care Apprenticeships/Diplomas (Level 2 to Level 5). * Conduct observations of learner competency and assess their progress. * Provide careers advice and guidance, directing learners to appropriate resources. * Promote Prevent Duty and British Values to enhance learner understanding. * Attend standardisation meetings and act on IQA feedback in a timely manner. * Support learners with their Maths, English, and digital skills development. * Regularly review and track learner progress, ensuring timely completion of qualifications. * Provide robust developmental feedback to help learners achieve their career aspirations. * Assist in preparing for external quality assurance and inspections. * Maintain accurate learner and employer records on the e-Portfolio system. * Support the Compliance Officer with Health & Safety pre-vetting of employer premises. What We’re Looking For: * A recognised Teaching Qualification (e.g., PTLLS, DTLLS, AET, Cert Ed). * A recognised Assessor Qualification (e.g., TAQA, CAVA, A1). * Functional Skills in Maths and English at Level 2 (or equivalent). * Experience delivering Health and Social Care courses and supporting learners aged 16+. * Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills. * Proficiency in IT and digital learning tools. * Up-to-date vocational experience and CPD in the sector. * Full UK Driving Licence and access to own vehicle (for face-to-face visits).
