We are actively seeking a Commercial Lawyer with direct experience providing counsel on commercial contracts and transactional deal work. This is in-house remote opportunity with our technology client. We are actively seeking Commercial Contracts Lawyers located anywhere in the United Kingdom with the following qualifications: 5 years PQE in commercial law but must have at least 5 years experience in in-house commercial contracts work. Qualified solicitor in England. LLM/JD from an accredited institution. Demonstrated expertise in drafting, negotiating, and advising on a variety of contracts, including NDAs, RFPs, MSAs, and GFAs, with an emphasis on cross-border transactions. Proven experience handling contracts across multiple jurisdictions, including knowledge of UK, EU, and international regulatory environments. Exposure to GDPR and data protection laws, with experience in identifying and addressing related contractual issues. Strong business acumen and the ability to provide commercially pragmatic legal advice. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Epiq Counsel partners with industry-leading clients in support of their sophisticated interim talent needs. Must be interested in practicing in an alternative, fixed-term legal services model. Support our corporate client on the following: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Master Services Agreements (MSAs), and General Framework Agreements (GFAs), Technology Agreements, Supply Chain Contracts, and Strategic Partnership Arrangements. Provide expert legal advice on cross-border contracts, ensuring compliance with local laws and regulatory requirements in jurisdictions such as the UK, Netherlands, China, etc. Conduct issue spotting for GDPR and other data protection compliance matters, ensuring appropriate contractual provisions are included. Support high-value transactional work and deal-making, including contract structuring and post-deal advisory. Act as a trusted legal partner to the business, ensuring all contractual arrangements align with organisational objectives and compliance standards. Stay updated on international trade regulations and data protection laws, ensuring contracts adhere to relevant legal frameworks.
