Sales Engineer

Sales Engineer Tamworth £30,000 per annum 09:00am – 17:00pm Permanent Role   Arch Recruitment Solutions are currently recruiting for a Sales Engineer, working within the Sales department within a well-established Manufacturing company based in Tamworth. The company specialise in metal fittings and flanges.  The successful candidate will receive full product and on-going training and will join a motivated sales team with a proven track record in meeting and exceeding targets.   Role responsibilities – For the role of Sales Engineer, you will be calculating material requirements and production costs. Producing quotations for customers which are clear, detailed and accurate is required for the Sales Engineer role. Providing and assisting colleagues on technical and engineering issues. For the role of Sales Engineer, you will be building relationships with customers and potential customers to understand their requirements. Communicating with customers to gain feedback on quotations. Recording all relevant sales information on our system will be required for the Sales Engineer role.  Role requirements – A minimum of 2 years’ engineering experience preferably within the steel industry is required for the Sales Engineer role. For the role of Sales Engineer, experience in reading and interpreting engineering CAD drawings would be beneficial. AutoCAD experience would also be beneficial. Ability to understand material grades and production methods is required for the Sales Engineer role. A good level of computer literacy and numeracy skills. Microsoft Excel conversant. To be organised, accurate and have an eye for detail.
